Trevor a few months ago purchased a radar detector in order to help with spotting cruising police when he is on the road to and from work. Actually he got a good deal on his purchase as it was originally $250 and he bought it for only $50 on sale.

Now while you are riding with him this radar detector will sound off all the time at things. You drive by houses and BAM it goes off. You go near shopping malls or any other stores and it does the same thing. I asked Trev what the various codes are that screams at you-I mean literally screams at you! He said he has no idea as he did not read the manual!

There are so many codes that sound off it sure would be nice to know what they are! But like the main thing that he says he knows is when the 5-O is driving around and he can slow up a bit. He really does like this a lot and saves him the cost of a speeding ticket, not that he speeds mind you!
The boys are back at school now. They went back on Monday so it has been rather a looong week. Getting back into the time schedule has been a little trying but it went pretty smooth actually.

I think the hardest is getting back into the cooking meals at an earlier time in the evening for me. Summer is a breeze with cooking but now it is planning the meals and starting them around 430 or so to be done with eating & clean up by 7.

Today Nicky came home talking about his friends having cell phones. I think he was hinting at getting one but there is no way I am getting him one at his age. If I did that I would have to make darn sure I had an iphone warranty (the phone he wants) to protect it. With being only 10 1/2 that is just to young to me to have one.

We talked about it and Colt was laughing at him when he made the face of defeat. haha

Maybe when he is 12 he can get one. I said maybe!!

Ever have a special someone in your life that you want to find the gift that will simply 'WOW' them? You look far and wide to find it. I know that I have done just that and there are times when shopping for that gift seems fruitless and empty.

Items become a blur and you have no idea what it was that you actually were looking at. Even if they give you a list you want it to be wonderful! If that special guy works in an office where they dress for the occasion one perfect item to really look at are murano cufflinks for men . They are absolutely beautiful to say the least.

I found just the pair for a gift. I know that they will be something that everyone will admire when he wears them and he will love the style.

It took me a couple of months to locate these. I looked at a lot of styles and makers and these are the perfect fit. Gift shopping completed!

Now I realize that with all the hot weather that nearly everyone that I know has right now the furthest from anyone's thoughts is winter. But here that is the one thing that we are now switching over to big time.

Since it is now mid August winter will be here before we know it. So it is now project time for the cold and bleak months. One of the first things on the agenda is wood and heating. Trev and Jamie have accumulated at least 3-4 months of wood already and more on the way. Which is great. Saves on the pocket book during the coldest of cold week's!

I would love to have the fireplace in the family room going. But in there I want to get an insert instead of a wood stove. But that might have to wait until next year. ;(

The other thing that I have been looking at are electric grills for cooking inside. They have amazing ones that are really not all that expensive. I do love my gadgets to help cook in the winter!

For the next few months it will be a race against time to get these things ready. Thankfully the list is short!

With Colton's birthday nearing, as I am told every day now, he has proceeded to begin his gift giving ideas to me.

Number one on his list is a TV. The next idea that he has is a camcorder for the web videos that he and his friends make for the web. Yes, they are just wonderful artistic endeavors.

So I have started in doing digital camcorder reviews to see which one in fact would be the best at a low price for a 16 year old.

Thankfully there are many digital camcorders to choose from so it won't be hard to actually locate something that he will like and find easy to use.

I never would have thought that he would want a camcorder to do anything! When he told me that my jaw actually dropped. I knew the TV was on the list but camcorder's ? No way!!

Luckily he gave me his list a few weeks in advance of his birthday to find the right one for him. Sifting through the reviews though is a pain!

This has been a busy, busy week. I am certainly glad it is over.

Work has been crazy busy, which is always a blessing but at times very overwhelming. I am still filling the orders and hoping to finish them all between today and Monday. Took a bit off with IC in order to focus on one thing instead of scattering energies here and there so that helped a lot.

Our aged fridge started making a noise one afternoon sounding like the tornado alarm here in town. Shay was home alone when it started and I guess it scared her. haha When we arrived home it was apparent it was getting ready to die. BB, Jamie and Shay took matters in hand and said they were going to get a new one for the house. They did the research, pricing and the next day bought a fridge that they knew I would love. It is gorgeous. I was going to buy one but when they said they were going to do it and the look that I got from them, well, it was safer to go along with them. haha I have great kids no doubt about it.

Boys are all registered for school and ready to go. Registrations this year went smooth and no crowds at all. Loved that!

To end the week on a good note, Trevor got off work early yesterday and wanted to take us out to our favorite Mexican restaurant. Shay and the boys were gone so it was just the 5 of us and it was so much fun!

A really busy week filled with tons of things to do that is for sure. Now this week looks about the same but I am going to squeeze in looking for wholesale handbags to see if I can find a black purse for this winter. haha

For the second day or should I say night in a row we have been hit with unusually harsh thunder storms. Last night the storm lasted nearly an hour with the lights going off numerous times. The lightening at times made the sky look purple. One person in Marion or Muncie said the sky looked pink from all the lightening. It was the worst one that we have ever had since we have moved here.

Now tonight we are getting a repeat. Lightening all over the place and the thunder is loud and close enough to rock the house.

One thing is for sure I am worried about Trevor and Shay as they are both on the roads. Different places but all the same. I guess if anything happens we can call a friend that can tow cars and also rv towing so they will be fine.
Wicked storms until 2AM. Going to be another long night.

Today I was reading something that just pissed me off to no end at all. Ever know someone that will say the cruelest, most viscous things about people but to someone else's face will try to come off as this caring wonderful person?

That just makes me want to throw up in my mouth. IF you have no use for some people & talk smack about them why even try to be nice because you basically are not that way. Trying to come off as a nice, understanding person all the while just mean and hateful behind their backs.

IF you don't like people then just don't try to be caring. I don't know when I don't like someone I do not talk to them. No matter what I stay out of their lives. Doesn't matter the situation; death. life, suicide staying out of it.

Maybe that is what toxic people do though. Try to make their selves to be high and mighty yet they are so tiny and insignificant that nothing they do really makes them any less toxic.

You can not be a saint when you are possessed by the devil.

Seems that when the hot weather hit hard so did the fleas. I feel so sorry for Star. She is scratching so bad. I forgot to order the Frontline Plus that she usually takes all year long and now they are back in full force.

I ordered it and really was hoping that it would arrive today but it didn't. I am guessing it will on Monday. I am going to give her and Sadie a bath using Dawn as I heard that it works well as a temporary fix. Plus with the heat they will like the bath!

I was going to have Jamie look for something along the lines of a home remedy but he was busy looking for weight loss supplements that work for Norm. And he needs it badly. haha

Anyway once the flea meds arrive Star will be back to her wonderful diva self!

Awhile ago I gave Jeremy a box of McDonald & Burger King toys to play with in the Great Room. He loved taking them out of the box and rolling them all over the floor.

It didn't take Sadie long to start snagging the toys and hiding them from him under the dining room table. But one toy caught her fancy and she would not let go of. If Jeremy took the toy and put it in the box Sadie would pop into the box and take it back. She fell in love with this crab!

Now the crab is hidden and I cannot find it! But just like finding diet pills to take Sadie will come downstairs, pull the toy out of nowhere and start chewing on it!
We have two events that are happening tomorrow. The first is the solar eclipse and the second is that of the New Moon.

With these two events coinciding you can bet there is going to be some heavy duty energies floating around. With the New Moon coming into effect it is now the time that we toss aside those old patterns, emotions and other trappings that hinders us in the present time. We need to take the time briefly grieve for those things that we hold onto that are no longer needed. Letting go of those preconceived notions of what could have or should have been. Cry, yell and let them go. Starting to feel that change is there and yes it is for the better.

With the solar eclipse comes the same thing. Using the power of the sun to renew our inner self. Letting those powerful rays to cleanse away all that negative energy that we have held onto.

We should utilize these two events to the fullest extent to further our lives. Facing that whatever we are holding onto is over and done with and nothing is going to change that. And even if it could be changed would we really want it back?

Tomorrow don't spend the time apidexin reviews spend it working on the inner you.

Remember toss, cry or laugh away what's been outgrown to seed a new garden of comfort and security.

Today I spent a large amount of time with a few students that are having a problem with path obstacles. Trying to explain about the process of enlightenment and how to try to stay on that path to which we all wish to achieve a higher level.

For hours I spent writing back and forth explaining and explaining. Finally, either they went to bed or they are coming up with something else for me to explain I took a break to do a casting.

Since I am trying a new method that the publishing company sent me I did not think it would really be all that great. The first board that I used I did understand and just laughed at. I decided to move onto the second board. The first cast was a little strange but I shrugged it off. Until I did the second casting. It hit me very hard and all I could do was laugh and say out loud 'OK I hear you now.' You see sometimes I am a little more than thick in the head at listening to my spiritual guides. Been hit a few times by them and I think this was a time I was struck. Nicely this time

The details are unimportant but all the discussions and words came to light. The students needed help that was a fact but what I was explaining made me think who I was really talking to. Enlightenment is something that is not achieved by just opening up a rfid blocking wallet it is more.

All those words, all those thoughts. Time to listen to what is being placed before me. With the help of this rather difficult casting procedure the light has come back on. A sensation of lightness came with this realization that I need to get back on my path once again full time as when I am on this path working with my spiritual guides my soul is light and soars with happiness.

I have to thank the students for their part in the madness of the day. They were the tools that were needed to hit me with the cosmic bat!

The heat has really been turned up here. Yesterday was terrible that is for sure. When it is that hot of course it is really hard to sleep when the temperature has only dropped to the high 80's!

Staying up later than normal and working during the cooler hours is what I have been doing. Can't sleep might as well work and stay ahead of things. I did think about pulling out the sleep aid that I use when insomnia hits but saving that as a last resort.

But we do have cooler days coming up. It cooled down a bit today and we had a small thunder storm which watered our grass!

Looking forward in the cooler days of Fall that is coming up!

Summer is flying by. It is now nearly mid July and thoughts of school has now entered into the thinking mix. Does not seem possible that the kids will return to school August 16th but they do.

With that in mind it is time again to buy school clothes. Which really is a never ending circle with the kids anyway.

I have already purchased a couple of shirts for Nicky so that is a start. One came today and he really did like it. Trying to find them unique things to start the school year with.

Of course then there is the school supplies, natural vitamins and other things that are needed. A little over a month to get all this done in.

Not a problem at all!
