A lot of those that are practioner's of the occult are avid astral travelers or dream walkers. I found this and thought it fit so well when at the end of the day or night after we wake from whatever state we can look to see what is real and what is not. A thin line is apparent. How many find signs that in dream state carry over to wakeful state?

Afflictions have reasons based on mind; when mindless, where can afflictions abide?
If you do not bother to discriminate and grasp appearances,
you will attain the way naturally in an instant.
While dreaming, you act in dreams;
when you awaken, dreamland doesnât exist.
If you think back to waking and dreaming,
they are not different from deluded dualism.
