Lily The Injured Dog

I was just reading about Lily. An injured dog that had her skin actually grow over and become embedded into her skin. They had to surgically remove this collar. I have been to this blog following the story and truthfully it is heartbreaking. Not just this pet but any animal that is abused by their owners.

We have dogs and cats here and they are members of the family, not just animals. I know that at times they are better treated than some children in the world. But that is not the point.

The site Hounds Good is a volunteer pet site. A very good cause.

Here is why I am writing this on this persons blog. They are in need of donations for the expenses of not just Lily but other pets that they have as well. Donations may in any amount. You are able to donate either through Paypal and mail. For those that are looking for a tax write off for next year, here it is.

Instead of reading about the animals and thinking poor dog(s), instead of commenting, put your thoughts where it counts. Pull out your money and donate! That is much better than words.

If you are asking if I donated. Yes, in fact I did. If everyone donated $5-$10 what a difference that would make for these pets.

Stop thinking and do something to help!
