Spirit of Vinyasa Flow is one of the better
yoga dvd that I have found. I have the advanced/intermediate and it was a work out at first. There are a few movements that I have not practiced in awhile so it took me a few days to get back into the groove with them.
Deb Dobbin has perfected the yoga work out sets in my eyes. From the start of the DVD she explains the how;s, why's and how's of Yoga. With her quiet, smooth voice you know that she is an instructor that loves what she does. I was throughly impressed with the DVD. Taking you through positions, one by one, explaining how to do them and why. Instructions are simple and to the point. Plus walking you through each one. Using the common name and the appropriate names as well. So the new, advanced or intermediate student is receiving a review of what they are doing.
The exercise set are broken into 3 different sets. I tried each one. Using the
yoga dvd and sections for three days each. While listening to Ms. Dobbin speak giving you instructions there are times it feels she is standing right next to you giving you individual teaching.
This is definitely a must have DVD for any yoga student no matter what level you are. I intend to keep using mine as a regular routine. Throwing out a few of my normal yoga exercises and adding what I have learned here.
Everything with this flowed with pure balance. The background music is soothing yet not over bearing. I liked that because it was helping to set the mood but not distracting.
One of the rare yoga finds in the area of DVD's. Has everything and then some
