Pandora's Casket

The day before yesterday while on a walk home from the store I happened to look down at my neighbors flower bed and what was looking back at me? Three brightly colored flowers. Just peeking their heads out of the earth and reaching towards the sky. It was a lovely sight to behold.

After all, the landscape here is still on the dreary side. With the earth tones of being in deep slumber from the winter, plants have yet to begin to stir. Not so with these three brave buds.

It was a warming feeling to see that new life is being rejuvenated once again. Knowing that spring will certainly be here soon.

Of course, with the warmer weather that we have been having I am surprised that more flowers were not tricked into coming out.

Having been spoiled by the 60-70 degree temperatures, we have returned once more to the mid to low 30's. High winds that are raging. Reminding me of the saying:

March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.

March is roaring today!
