It is a little ironic that yesterday while eating lunch I was talking to my daughter about the super bug. Explaining how her brother did not want me to use very much hand sanitizers as it lowers the tolerance to the super bug. Waking this morning I found on the front page of Yahoo an article on the subject.

Not a completely great article but it did have some interesting information on how household cleansers just do not kill it.

Have you ever purchased tickets and then before the event something else came up and you knew that you would not be able to go to? I have that is for sure. I mean this has happened a couple of times. I purchased tickets to a sporting event once and got sick and knew there was no way I could go. Nobody in the immediate family wanted to go. As a parent of a graduating junior this year we are starting to search for the colleges that will be best suited for him to attend. Personally, I am crossing my fingers for Ball University but he has different ideas on that. Father's Day is rapidly sneaking up on us. Have you given any thought as to what to buy that special man in your lives?

I don't know about you but the Indy 500 just wasn't all that great. After the eight cautions, 10 crashes and way too little racing it was just a dud this year.

The most exciting part of the entire spectacle was when Ryan Briscoe pulled out of his pit box way to fast and slapped into the back of Danica Patrick car and wrecking the suspension. You knew that the tempers were flaring then. When the hottie got out of her car and started walking towards him

I was hoping she would kick the crap out of him. But the security talked to her and she left for awhile. She appeared later much more composed and calmer. Good show there.

With the 13 new comers that were in the race this is what some were blaming the sloppiness of the race on.

I don't know there were a lot of mistakes and stupid things done by some of the wiser and more saged drivers.

Last year my daughter and son in law went to Chicago on business. They found that while in Chicago things to do there was numerous. They had planned on site seeing but went crazy in the China town part. I think that the favorite part was the restaurants that they went to. They came home with some great pictures of the trip. Planning to return again as soon as time allows.


I love going to Southern California because there are so many things to do in Los Angeles. I think one of the favorite vacations was when we went to Universal Studios. That was when ET was the greatest thing happening. The children really enjoyed the shows that we saw when we were there. The tour that we went on was fantastic that is for sure. Although we lived in and around Los Angeles we went site seeing to the different places nearly every weekend. Fun times that is for sure. We have so many pictures of all the places that I still have yet to put them all in albums
