With my bathroom in mind this contest comes just in time. What better room to re-do than that bathroom? I mean it is a mess. Yes, right now we have the new pipes all over the place installed but there are other things that need fixing really bad also.

We have to re-do the entire floor. Wood, tiles you name it. Then we move on to the walls. Don't get me started on that. The only things in there that are worth saving are the toilet, tub and sink. This is what happens when people do not take care of things or are to old to.

I would love to see this bathroom in a sea mist green with windows and plants adorning it. It has a small room close to it that I would love to put a fountain and foliage as the window has perfect sun there. New fixtures and lighting would be wonderful.

With the $20,000 to Tranform Your Home contest I would definitely put it towards finishing that bathroom and the with any money left over the downstairs bath room as well. I am hung up on bathrooms tonight as you can tell.

Ok, I have talked and talked about that upstairs bathroom and the restoration of it. This has been a HUGE undertaking. Right now a bomb thrown in there would be an improvement.

The latest is this. Our downstairs bathroom has now struck up a protest. Yes, this house works together when it gets pissed off. To much attention in one room well BAM another room will have something happen in it. My son in law proceeds to the basement of yuck and muck to begin yet again working on the new pipe for the upstairs bath. He notices something is amiss. Thats right the pipe for the toilet for the downstairs bathroom is broken. He sees no reason nor rhyme for this breakage. Fine one day broke the next morning? Give it a rest Spooky Manor.

Now, it is a major rush to get at least something that is flushable. With that in mind luckily all the kids were at school and not clambering to use the pot.

Finally after much swearing, slamming and banging the toilet is somewhat hooked up. The wax seal is like totally no where. We do not have a hardware store in this town of rednecks so now there is another trip to Lowes.

If it has anything to do with water this house throws a hissy fit and keeps on leaking. Geez, what a cry baby manor we have.

I am really tired of this bathroom saga.
