That time of year again. WooHoo!

The night before Samhain and all through the house
not a servitor was stirring not even some Chaos!

I don't know about that but there is always Chaos in my home. Especially when it comes to pumpkin carving time.

You can tell that my children were as busy as mummy's in a band aide factory getting their pumpkins carved.


Nicky, Colt, Jamie and BB were the official carvers this year. I sat and do what I do best-Take pictures and ate my dinner. haha

The excitement is running a muck as they prepare to take all the guts out of them and put the seeds in a bowl for roasting. One of the favorite treats of Samhain.


With knives in hand, which is disturbing to say the least if you know my children, they start taking their aggressions out on their individuals ghoulishly orange servitors.


As you can see BB is getting into the groove. And she said she wasn't going to carve this year! HA I knew she would. She is a slasher deep down inside



Nicky and Colton are getting their elbows into the work now. Nicky had so much fun with the knives and gutting part. Not to mention he made his eyes into stars!
Coltons turned out super ghoulish.



These guys got really into the carving. I was surprised that this was one of the few years they were neat about doing it. Usually I have seeds and slime all over the place. Aren't they cute????


Now this is the way that Trev wanted to carve a pumpkin with his machete. I said no maybe next year. He is allowed tomorrow to slash them after they are done trick or treating. What a goober!

BB and I went to the store this evening. I was running super late getting something for dinner. I had just labeled 35 1/2 ounce bottles and 150 2 ML centrifuge vials. Pain in the butt.

Man, was she mean! I swear I saw her frothing at the mouth. She wanted me to hurry, hurry and it just was not happening. haha I didn't know what I wanted to make for dinner. All she kept saying was sandwiches, over and over again.

Well, we ended up getting things for soup and sandwiches. Anything to appease the beastie girl haha

Now I have to sit here and sort through paperwork making sure that all of it is ready for tomorrow. I have a pile of it. Not to mention I have orders in the smelly room that I need paper work on also.

Have to check on prices for 2 x 2 zip locks. The order that I just received is the wrong size. Usable but not the ones that I want. I do that all the time. I even made sure that I saved the original size measurements. Did not make since but nothing new there. haha

So better place my order so I can get those by Friday or Saturday. If I am lucky

Magic loans Has just opened their doors on the proverbial internet highway. What type of company are they exactly?

The site is nice looking. As for what I mean is this. No flashing things popping at you which to me is distracting. No intro flash entrance either. What a relief.

Simple pages with information presenting the potential home owner with what they are looking for. Nothing more and nothing less. On the front page there is a loan calculator, which worked. I have been to new sites and some of the calculators, shipping estimators do not work. Seems that the bugs are not there. Links are live and active, and go exactly to where they say they go.

writing is streamlined and well written. I did not see any grammatical or punctuation errors throughout any of the site. Good job, guys and dolls. That is something that a lot of newer sites have a lot of errors that they think the general public will not see or simply overlook. They do not, trust me.

I like orange so I am a little prejudice on the colors. I think the color combinations are easy on the eyes. Nothing so bright you have to put your sunglasses on to look at the site.

The one thing that bugged me a little was on Customer recommendations. The percentage graphic was in the middle of the elderly mans head. Like a train wreck, I had to stare at it. Distracting but not a totally bad thing.

Might want to throw in a few articles for your customers. If they are there to comparison shop, give them more than company info. The articles will help to keep their attention and stay on your site longer. Staying on the site longer means they might use your service right then or possibly later.

Other than that for a new site, not to shabby.

Today I will be in the smelly room from early this morning until late. Have to get everything finished and out. A little tired of the cauldrons and everything that is going a long with it. haha Starts out fun, no not really.

They are just so much work. Each one can take up to 3 hours or more to make. And they can not really be made in advance. Makes it a pain.

I do like it that the customers love them so it does make it all worth while really.

Left messages all over for the woman that bounced her check. I see that as another write off. Doubt I will recover the funds at all.

Most of the gifts that I bought for the kids arrived. Super quick really. Now there is only I think two or three that still need to arrive. Start all over again. haha

Planning on getting everything finished as I am behind in a few other things that are ready to go out but just sitting there.

All the clubs are late this month due to the cauldrons. Makes me mad
