Park West Gallery founded in 1969 in Southfield, Michigan. They also have other locations other than this one.
This is located on a 3 1/2 acre site which houses the 63,000 square foot museum like center.
With many years of experience they are easily called the world's largest art gallery. Each and every week well over 6000 pieces of art is sent to be logged, cataloged and verified. That is impressive. These are then distributed to their other centers to be sold and auctioned off.
Park West Gallery houses 23 separate art galleries where you may view the various artists and collections. Every month a new exhibition and sale is mounted and a completely new collection of more than 1000 works fills the galleries.
For those that follow art they should keep a sharp look at their schedule of exhibitions coming in the future as they present each year more than 50 artists visiting the gallery for signings and events. One never knows who will be there.
For those that may not be able to go to one of their sites, you may browse their online catalog and purchase over the phone. Each artist is cataloged on the site with the workings. For example I browsed Tomasz Rut for his works of art. Finding the one I adore, Feritas. The depth of this painting is something that can not be expressed fully through the written word.
What makes it perfect is that it has the page and catalog numbers all right there so when you call in your order it is very simple and easy.
Very well thought out site in the way that it is constructed with the viewer in mind. The site is not distracting so you are able to focus on the work you are looking for or at.
Park West Gallery is open seven (7) days a week.
If you are a serious art collector you may wish to browse the site and visit there location.
