We were hit with a pretty big storm yesterday. Winds, snow and very cold. There were times that you could barely see across the street into the corn field it was blowing snow so hard.
The one thing that made me the most nervous was that Trevor was working last night. He did call to tell me that he was working an extra few hours because the third shift could not get out onto the roads for work it was that bad. What he did not tell me is that on the way to work he slid off the road into a ditch and some wonderful driver came back and towed him out.
That has been one of my biggest worries at night this year. Him being out on those darn country roads in the bad weather. He and his friend were fine but the exhaust pipe was a little crunched up. He told me the story at 5 or 6AM as I waited downstairs for him to get home.
At least he didn't need
moving services or a tow truck to bring his Blazier home! Luckily he has the weekend off and if the weather is like this on Monday he is calling in not to work. Which is a major relief for me!
