Stupid I As Stupid Talks

Yesterday I had a big laugh at Fatass. We were in the local antique/thrift/whatever store. Never have been able to explain John's store. haha Anyway, after the normal conversations were out of the way John started talking about the economy. Now, for a slow talking, country man he is smart as a whip when you get him going (Which takes a lot).

One thing lead to another and we began talking about California. He was Arnie this and Arnie that like he lived there. haha John and I were talking about the economic failure and bankruptcy of the state and FA jumps in with his normal words of wisdom "They aren't in trouble, my mom never said anything". Hmm, mom knows best? Both John and I stopped talking and just stared at him. I said ' Are you serious?', John said 'Where have you been Norman?'. Usually I am more than embarrassed by FA's lack of intelligence and what he says, but this was just to good to ignore. We proceeded to tell him all about what was going on, economical standings and other important news updates. John was like 'what has he been doing looking up economy hotels promotions instead of taking note of what is going on?'

If you know FA you know that if it is not gossip he can not be bothered. Walking out of the store with John shaking his head, I told FA the next time he is in doubt of joining a conversation, let the adults do the talking and be quiet.

FA is now the new gossip in my town now.
