Yet Another Cold Snap

We are once again recovering from another cold snap. With temperatures that plummeted to -20 and even lower Indiana was a frozen paradise.

I felt really sorry for those people in SD with what they had to endure. Hopefully, they are starting to warm up.

Who would ever thought that we, native Californians, would think that 16 up till 30 was on a warming trend? Yet when you think about it, suffering the extreme lower temperatures the 20's and a little sun is heaven!

We actually got to 30 degrees today. WOW! Break out those shorts. haha

It's funny how "cold" is all relative, isn't it? I recently spent some time in Montreal where it's just frigid. My boyfriend asked me what the temperature was outside and I said "-14 Celsius". He said, "That's not too bad". Our friend who was present laughed and said, "You know you're from Canada when -14 Celsius is 'not bad'".

-14 Celsius is about 7 degrees Fahrenheit. For this Vancouver girl, that's beyond cold. But compared to the -25 Celsius we had experienced the days before in Montreal, -14 didn't seem nearly as bad.
