A Day Of Shopping Maddness

Yesterday we got our shopping groove on. Yes, I actually walked away from shopping in the comfort of my home to walking all over in certain stores. I didn't mind as Sab's and her hubby Jamie, Shay and Trevor were all there as well to participate in the 3 S's. Shop, Swear and Share. And at times the swearing was mainly in my head at those people that I have to imagine thought they were the only ones in the store by the rude behavior they were exhibiting. Actually, to my surprise the only really terrible behavior I saw in a massive amount were the people that were in their cars driving. Total idiots.

You see yesterday we had a small snow storm and the streets were mushy and icy. Especially the parking lots. People were sliding all over due to driving to fast for the conditions in the parking lots. Amazing that I didn't see any accidents. Some close calls, but no accidents.

It was freezing cold walking to and fro the stores and you couldn't walk fast or you would fall flat on your butt due to slipping. My son nearly did that and I think my son in law as well. Then again they were messing around trying to skate.

The day was pretty good. I was able to find a few things that I had waited to buy and found the items at a lower cost. I will tell you that stocking fillers cost as much as a couple of really good gifts. haha

I am just glad that my shopping is completed. Unless I see something extra that I like. I wrapped a few gifts last night up till nearly 2 AM doing so. Still not finished wrapping!

One of the last things I did though after dinner was to go online and purchase two gifts that I had wanted to buy and couldn't find in the stores.

I still prefer online shopping to in person shopping any day!
