It is really hard to find a web hosting company that offers its users everything that they want. Or if they do seem to offer these services the price is sky high. You have read in my past posts about my hosting rants or my associates that had a problem with a company or many hosting hosting companies. Always on the look out for a web hosting company that actually stands by what they say they can do.
Switching hosting is a frightening idea for some. Especially if you have to transfer files and lengthy information for either your site or your
blog.
I have two such sites that I need to transfer as the company is OK but lately over the past few months has become slow, performance is terrible and I am totally unhappy with them.
Searching for a hosting company does not have to be a nightmare. You need to read tips and hints on what to look for and one such place is a
webhosting blog that is full of resourceful information.
The site of Web Hosting Geeks has such a blog that I found to be clear and concise on the information that they gave on what to look for in a web hosting company. What I liked is that they did not self promote. Only offering helpful information for those that need it. I give them two thumbs up for that. I read a few of the articles and I saw no mention to their own services. Unique for a company.
Which led me to look into their services. There was a nice sized list complete with reviews, descriptions and you name it there at my finger tips. Names of hosting companies and how they faired in services and performance. The reviews were, once again, clear and concise. Choosing to look at three different ones that I found I saw that the reviews were honest.
There really is no need to surf the web for web hosting at all. You simply go to their site and look at who they have on the lists. Might take you awhile to do but at least they are all on one easy to read and use page. Easy to navigate and utilize.
So if you are in need of a hosting company and want to compare sites, this is the site you really should start with. I found it very useful and bookmarked a couple of the companies that I want to look at in more detail.
