Commision Junction

Last night I signed up for Commission Junction after reading about it on someone else's site. I spent a good hour or so trying to figure out how and what to do. I have to admit that sometimes with new things I get stuck until a light bulb goes off in my head.

I sat there reading the various ads that are available and to tell you the truth I really had no idea what I was doing. I chose three different advertisers and applied to a number of others to see what will happen.

I thought I might as well try something new for a change and see what will happen. If anyone has any tips and tricks I sure would appreciate hearing them

Don't make them complicated either!

Well, I signed up for Commission Junction early this year. I was only approved for 3 of the affiliates I applied with. Then one day after a few months of hearing nothing from CJ I decided to go and check out my account, thinking that since I was getting a lot of traffic from EC surely someone had clicked on one of my affiliate ads. When I tried to sign in it wouldn't let me, said I didn't have an account, and I know I had the right password because I had kept my original email from them with my password and that's what I was using to sign in.

I emailed CJ to ask them why I can't get in, I have an account and I still had my affiliate ads on my blog. That was about 2 or 3 months ago and I have never got a response from them. I found out from some people on myLot that the same thing has happened to others, as well as there is going to be some sort of class action thing against CJ, I don't know the details of that though.

So, that is what I know about CJ, obviously I don't recommend them

Affiliate advertising is hard to get started with. CJ is a great program, but not exactly beginner friendly. Try checking out forums or other affiliate programs that may explain things better for you.

CJ is not very user-friendly with regards to their user interface and you will be dropped by many programs if no income is generated. I've been with them for approximately 3 years and when Ebay pulled out I went right along with Ebay to their own network. I use smaller ad networdks for alot of my quick cash earning offers through our forum. Pepperjam has become my choice for now.
