Entre Card Vent

I usually do my Entrecard drops early in the morning. My thoughts are to get it over and done with as soon as I can. That way I can just forget about it. In the early days of dropping I would drop in the evening but that was like pulling teeth out with tweezers. I stopped that and decided that since I am up at the butt crack of dawn I might as well do the drops, read some entertaining blogs and wake up properly.

Now it seems that mornings are getting to be just as bad as in the evenings. Either the site goes down, which it does more than you would think it would, or it is running so slow that personally some days I just quit dropping. I am not going to sit there and wait for EC to come back up or move along at a speed that is workable.

Then of course you get to those sites that have more widgets and ads than Carter has pills. I think the funniest I read was on a bloggers site that complained about widgets and ads. Their site was loaded with them. Pot calling the kettle black. I mean do these people that have 150 widgets ever actually visit their sites to see how slow they load? Probably not because they do not want to sit and wait for the page to load.

I have been on EC since I believe shortly after they started so its been a while. I read all these hints and tips about how to use the drops to your advantage, advice here and there. Amazing how many experts there are about EC. In all the time that I have been dropping my only advice is to put your darn card at the top of your page. IF I wanted to read your entire list of stupid blog friends that you have I would read them. Do not make me have to scroll to the bottom of your page that seems to take an hour to get to just to drop. Lately if I have to scroll down after a list of millions of "your friends" I click out. Bye Bye no drop

I like EC don't get me wrong but there are things that I do not like. OH, and do not PM me asking me to join your contest. I won't so don't bother telling me about it. I think that is spam so I read it and delete it. OH, and I will not drop on your site if you do that either.

I have other vents but they can wait till a later date......AND do not comment saying then stop dropping either. I realize that I have that option I do not need you to tell me that.
