Another Day: Another Month

Well, another week and another month is here. Time just flies by that is for sure.

With the baby count down ticking away it seems that the days are going by even faster. I keep telling Jeremy, through Shay's tummy to come on out! haha I am so sure that she will be glad when he is finally here for a lot of reasons and one being people talking to her stomach!

School here is right around the corner. On my end school shopping is over with. I actually got a head start and bought everything way ahead of time so it would not be so crazy. Nice thought although in this household crazy is the over powering theme which is normal. Yep, we are abnormally normal I guess.

I am just glad that all the school things are finished. No last minute items this year to be purchased

Registrations are next week. What makes me more than a little annoyed is that we have to register at the elementary school each year as if all the students were new to the school. Really is very stupid and takes time away from other things. In California we just went to the school, got the classroom and BAM that was that. Oh, but not here. Heavy sigh. I really don't like going to registrations. I have one at the elementary school and two at the high school.

My son, Colt is starting high school this year and we have a two hour registration. Lucky me. I get to sit for an hour, yes and HOUR hearing a lecture by one of the sheriffs on internet safety and children. I told my son that I am taking my mp3 player with me and my notebook to do some work while this is going on. I mean that also. In this day and age if a parent does not know how to patrol their children and computers then they should not have one in the first place.

I am already growling at the idea of sitting listening to this lecture. haha
