Yesterday we had the storm of all storms. Actually it wasn't the rain so much it was the thunder and lightening that was going on.
We had one clap of lightening that sounded like a gun shot. In my room it sounded as if whatever it was went off in my room it was that loud. We are pretty used to the storms here. The thunder is so loud that it actually can shake the entire house. Late at night, which that is when we get a vast majority of these storms, is when it is something to watch. The lightening went on for hours. We had a warning not to go out due to it was ground lightening.
I had to laugh last night when Shaina was telling this to Nick. You get to know more about storms and the meanings of them than you really want to or even thought you would in a life time. haha
The lightening went on throughout the night. We went to sleep with it thundering and lighting up the room. When it stopped I have no idea.
All evening long we had power outages. Some were just enough to make your clocks go off to have to re-set. I didn't have to this storm. I have one that automatically re-sets its self. Very handy to have!
This morning is clear as a bell and you would know that last night was a killer storm if you hadn't seen it for yourself
